  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

Prepare the Dough

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll Out Puff Pastry: Unroll the thawed puff pastry onto a lightly floured surface.
  3. Brush with Butter: Using a pastry brush, coat the surface of the puff pastry with melted butter.

Add the Filling

  1. Combine Sugar and Cinnamon: Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  2. Sprinkle Evenly: Spread the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the buttered pastry.

Shape the Swirls

  1. Roll the Pastry: Starting from one long edge, roll the puff pastry tightly into a log.
  2. Slice into Swirls: Use a sharp knife to cut the log into 12 equal slices.

Bake the Swirls

  1. Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the slices cut-side down on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  2. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  3. Cool Slightly: Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
