For the Rolls:

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough (store-bought)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce (for filling)

For the Topping:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (for sprinkling)

Instructions

Prepare the Rolls

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll Out the Dough: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle.
  3. Add Filling: Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and arrange the pepperoni slices on top.
  4. Roll the Dough: Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough into a tight log, pinching the seams to seal.
  5. Slice the Rolls: Cut the rolled dough into 12 equal pieces and place them cut side up on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake the Rolls

  1. Brush with Olive Oil: In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush this mixture over the top of each roll.
  2. Sprinkle Toppings: Add a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese on top for extra flavor.
  3. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
