Instructions
Prepare the Fudge
- Line the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
- Melt the Chocolate: In a medium saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, and salt. Heat over low-medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and melted.
- Add the Extras: Stir in the vanilla extract and 1/2 cup of mini marshmallows until evenly distributed.
Assemble and Chill
- Pour into Pan: Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Decorate: Sprinkle additional mini marshmallows on top, pressing them gently into the fudge. For extra flair, add crushed peppermint or a drizzle of chocolate syrup.
- Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
Cut and Serve
- Slice: Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into squares using a sharp knife.
- Serve: Arrange on a platter or serve individually with whipped cream or hot chocolate on the side.
