Instructions
Prepare the Salsa
- Chop the Vegetables: In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, minced jalapeño, and chopped cilantro.
- Add Seasonings: Squeeze in the lime juice, and sprinkle in the salt and cumin (if using). Add minced garlic if desired.
- Mix: Stir everything together until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more salt or lime juice as needed.
- Let it Rest: For the best flavor, let the salsa sit for about 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
