Instructions
Prepare the Mixture
- Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the cooked quinoa, breadcrumbs, grated cheese, egg, onion, carrot, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Form Patties: With clean hands, shape the mixture into small patties, about 2-3 inches in diameter.
Cook the Patties
- Heat Oil: In a large skillet, heat a generous amount of olive oil over medium heat.
- Fry Patties: Once the oil is hot, add the patties in batches, cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
- Drain: Remove the patties from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
