Instructions
Prepare the Crostini
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toast the Baguette: Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy. Flip halfway through for even toasting.
- Cool: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Prepare the Cranberry Topping
- Cook the Cranberries: In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, honey (or maple syrup), orange zest, and cinnamon.
- Simmer: Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries burst and the mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.
- Cool: Remove from heat and let cool slightly before using.
