  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Prepare the Dough

  2. Add Sugars: Mix in the granulated sugar and brown sugar, beating until light and fluffy.

  4. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Chill the Dough

  1. Refrigerate: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the dough for at least 30 minutes. This step helps the cookies maintain their shape during baking.

Bake the Cookies
