  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Carrots

  1. Prep the Carrots: If using regular carrots, peel and slice them into even rounds.
  2. Melt the Butter: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Cook the Carrots

  1. Add the Carrots: Once the butter is melted, add the carrots to the skillet. Sauté for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add Brown Sugar: Sprinkle the brown sugar over the carrots and stir to coat evenly.
  3. Caramelize: Continue to cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently, until the carrots are tender and caramelized. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
