Instructions
Prepare the Carrots
- Prep the Carrots: If using regular carrots, peel and slice them into even rounds.
- Melt the Butter: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Cook the Carrots
- Add the Carrots: Once the butter is melted, add the carrots to the skillet. Sauté for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add Brown Sugar: Sprinkle the brown sugar over the carrots and stir to coat evenly.
- Caramelize: Continue to cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently, until the carrots are tender and caramelized. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
