Scale
For the Brownies:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup Baileys Irish Cream
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Brownie Batter
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix the Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the Baileys Irish Cream and vanilla extract.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Add Chocolate Chips: If using, fold in the chocolate chips for added texture and extra chocolatey goodness.
- Pour the Batter: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
Bake the Brownies
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (not wet batter).
- Cool: Remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool in the pan on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Afterward, remove from the pan and let them cool completely on the wire rack.
